Exploring and expanding your Genius

Posted by in Blog, Inspiration & Motivation | 0 comments

I recently heard a woman’s story about how she was at the end of her rope from a recent divorce, parenting 2 pre-school children, on food stamps with the 3 of them sleeping in one room. She was turned down by more than 10 volunteer opportunities because she would need to bring her children with her. At the pit of her disappear she thought, what is one thing that I can do well? Long story shorter, she offered a free meal to people who could not afford a meal or cook for themselves. She was amazed by the number of people who  came to her home to eat a meal and even more astounded with their appreciation they expressed afterward.  Eventually, this wonder woman got her life...

The best advice ever, I got from my white water rafting guide: Stay in the boat and NEVER panic because panic is a waste of time. The following are the...

Trusting the Unexpected

Posted by in Blog, Inspiration & Motivation | 2 comments

At a 2014 Winter Solstice ceremony, we were invited to pick a word or phrase for our coming year. What I heard in my Being was “trust”. What a ‘nice’ word, I thought. That sounded safe and manageable, right!? What I did not consider then was how I would learn or express “trust”.  Since December 21 I have been tested over and over again to trust my next step, my next hour, my next day, my next conversation, my next response, my next disappointment, my next insight and on it goes. My experiences have brought me to my knees in gratitude over and over again. I am most thankful for following my inner guidance of 30 years of Meditation,...

Like fish in water, we too are surrounded by our intuitive knowing.  Intuition can arise as an inner sense, feeling, through a dream, an unusual order, or as a soft voice. Intuition is a knowing without any logical way of knowing or rational explanation.  Intuition is wired within your body. It could also show up as a strong gut reaction to an event or feeling our hair stand up on end. There are numerous ways and definitions of intuition. It speaks to us and through us. “Whether we call them hunches, gut feelings, senses, or dreams, they’re all the same thing – intuition, speaking to us, giving us insight and knowledge to help us make sound decisions about any...
